Job summary

Tallgrass MLP Operations, LLC is seeking a Project Controls Director in Houston to lead project controls, budgeting and scheduling across multiple offices. You will serve as the single point of contact for the VP of Project Management and drive best practices to meet cost and schedule commitments.

The role demands 10+ years of experience in project controls, cost estimation, and scheduling, with a BS/MS in Construction Science or related field.

Qualifications

• Requires 10+ years of relevant industrial experience in project controls, cost controls, cost estimation, planning, scheduling, and project management.
• Bachelor or Master of Science in Construction Science, Building Science or related field preferred; high school diploma with 10+ years also qualifies.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train and mentor project controls professionals for skills development.
• Develop and implement robust project controls systems.
• Define expectations for interfaces with project teams to drive predictability and repeatability.
• Establish and maintain Work Breakdown Structures and cost/schedule control processes.
• Monitor budgets, schedules and progress; support change management and revenue recognition.
