Job summary

Tallgrass is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead engineering, project controls, and execution for capital and sustaining projects in the Houston area. The role requires coordinating with cross-functional teams, maintaining schedules and budgets, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction or Project Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in major projects, preferably natural gas or hazardous liquids.
• Strong cost and schedule control, and ability to lead project controls.
• Proven leadership and communication skills to present to leadership and customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage safety, schedule, budget, and quality across multiple projects.
• Develop short- and long-term project plans with milestones and deadlines.
• Delegate tasks to internal and external resources to meet objectives.
• Provide on-site leadership and coordinate with commercial and operations groups to support business development.
• Prepare project scopes, estimates, and execution plans for new and expansion projects.
• Interface with customers, regulators, and contractors to advance project goals.
• Maintain cost control reports and monthly cash flow forecasts.
