Job summary

Energy Transfer LP is seeking a Sr. Project Specialist - Controls in Houston to support front end planning and project controls within Engineering & Construction.

You will consolidate project estimates, develop milestone schedules, and prepare packages for economic review in collaboration with Project Managers, Program Directors, and the Commercial group. You will lead risk analyses, develop execution plans, and provide cost, schedule, and risk reporting throughout project lifecycles, working

Qualifications

• 8+ years of related experience in oil & gas project controls or project management.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or finance preferred.
• PMI/AACE certifications are preferred but not required.
• Proficient knowledge of ground-up and linear project lifecycles.
• Strong command of scheduling standards and risk analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyze new capital opportunities with project teams.
• Develop summary schedules and cost estimates for funding packages.
• Lead risk registers and Monte Carlo analyses.
• Maintain program and project level schedules with input from internal and external teams.
• Support bid package development, bid analysis, and contract reporting.
• Create and maintain progress measurement tools to track milestones.
• Coordinate with project contractors to ensure timely deliverables and change control.
• Provide cost management support and variance analysis.
• Update project schedules and report variances to leadership.
• Maintain risk registers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Travel up to 25% as required.
