Job summary

Austin Sunshine Camps in Austin, TX is seeking a Chief Program & Impact Officer to lead program strategy, safety, and community engagement for all camps. The role reports to the CEO and oversees four full-time program staff, with a strong focus on expanding impact and ensuring high-quality, age-appropriate programming.

The CPIO will serve as a trusted partner to the leadership team, driving program excellence, evaluating outcomes, and partnering with external funders and community leaders.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience in youth development, camps, or nonprofit settings.
• Experience leading multi-site programs and teams.
• Ability to translate strategy into actionable programs and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead ASC’s program strategy and multi-site expansion.
• Recruit, coach, and retain a high-performing program leadership team.
• Oversee program quality, outcomes, and impact measurement.
• Ensure safety, licensing compliance, and risk management across facilities.
• Build partnerships with funders, schools, and community organizations.
• Manage program budgets and grant-related obligations.”
