Job summary

The Gordon JCC in Nashville seeks a Chief Program Officer to provide strategic vision and leadership for a broad programming portfolio, including children’s services, camps, fitness, aquatics, and community events. The role drives program quality, growth, and financial sustainability while ensuring mission alignment and member engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, business, recreation, education, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership in programming, nonprofit, recreation or related settings.
• Experience leading multiple programs/departments and supervising staff.
• 5+ years in budgeting, financial management, program evaluation, and strategic planning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive programming strategy aligned with the JCC's mission and community needs.
• Lead and oversee Children's Services, Camp Davis, Fitness, Aquatics, and campus-wide events.
• Collaborate with program leaders on evaluation, benchmarking, and data-driven decisions.
• Ensure programs are high-quality, inclusive, safe, and engaging.
• Oversee budgets and collaborate with departments to meet financial goals.
