Job summary

Nira Energy is seeking a Chief Product & Technology Officer to lead Product, Engineering, and Transmission Planning, owning the product roadmap and execution while managing VP Engineering and VP Transmission Planning.

This is a technical product operator role focused on translating customer and market insight into strategy and driving cross‑functional teams to ship mission‑critical software across the organization.

Qualifications

• Senior product or technical leadership experience in complex B2B software.
• Strong product judgment and track record of execution; turning ambiguity into plans and shipped products.
• Ability to quickly learn a highly niche / complex domain.
• Experience managing product teams, engineering teams, or cross-functional technical teams.
• Excellent communication and people leadership skills.
• Comfort partnering closely with founders while progressively taking ownership of product strategy and roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Develop the product roadmap and execution across Product, Engineering, and Transmission Planning.
• Translate customer, market, and founder insight into product strategy and execution plans.
• Build and maintain the operating cadence for product development: roadmap planning, reviews, and customer feedback loops.
• Manage and coach Product Leads, VP Engineering, and VP Transmission Planning.
• Drive cross-functional decision-making on value, feasibility, speed, and business impact.
• Ensure product quality, usability, reliability, and customer impact.
