Job summary

Blue Shield of CA seeks an executive leader to establish and drive the enterprise product security strategy across Stellarus commercial products, platforms, and services, protecting customer data while enabling growth.

The VP, Product Security will partner with Product, Engineering, Risk, Privacy, Compliance and Legal to build secure-by-design capabilities, oversee secure software development, DevSecOps, cloud security, and governance programs at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field or 18+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• 12+ years in information security, cybersecurity, product security, or related disciplines with enterprise-scale programs.
• 7+ years of leadership experience leading managers and/or large security teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise Product Security programs across complex, regulated environments.
• Oversee SSDLC, DevSecOps, cloud security, API security, and software supply chain security.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Risk, Privacy, Compliance and Legal to scale secure-by-design capabilities.
