Job summary

Stellarus is seeking an accomplished Vice President of Product Security to lead the enterprise security strategy across commercial products, platforms and services, embedding security in every lifecycle stage.

This executive will partner with Product, Engineering, Risk Management, Privacy, Compliance and Legal to build secure-by-design capabilities that scale across Stellarus' portfolio, protect customer data and digital ecosystems, and enable innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or 18+ years of relevant experience.
• 12+ years in information security, cybersecurity, product security, or related disciplines.
• 7+ years of leadership experience leading managers or large-scale security organizations.
• At least one industry standard certification (CISSP, CISM, or CCSP).
• Proven executive leadership experience developing and scaling enterprise Product Security programs.
• Deep expertise in SSDLC, application security, DevSecOps, cloud security, API security, and software supply chain security.
• Strong understanding of modern cloud platforms, microservices architectures, containers, and platform engineering practices.
• Experience implementing and operating security frameworks like NIST CSF, NIST SSDF, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, SOC 2, OWASP.
• Demonstrated success integrating security into agile/product-centric operating models.
• Strong knowledge of threat modeling, vulnerability management, penetration testing, code analysis, and secure architecture review methodologies.
• Experience managing security risks for customer-facing products, digital platforms, APIs, and cloud-native applications.
• Proven ability to translate business strategy into actionable security roadmaps, investment plans, and measurable outcomes.
• Strong financial and operational acumen, including budgets prioritization and optimization.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management with executive presentation skills.
• Experience collaborating with executive leadership, boards, customers, regulators, and external auditors.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise Product Security programs across Stellarus’ portfolio.
• Oversee product security engineering, application security, cloud security, DevSecOps, vulnerability management, security architecture, and governance programs.
• Partner with executives across Product, Engineering, Risk, Privacy, Compliance and Legal to build secure-by-design capabilities.
• Translate business strategy into actionable security roadmaps and measurable outcomes.
• Foster leadership and learning within high-performing security teams.
