Job summary

AAA Auto Club Enterprises seeks a Head of Product to ensure execution of the product vision by defining and driving the product strategy. You will build and protect product execution from planning through development, define product goals, manage acquisition/retention programs, and drive growth while monitoring profitability and costs.

You will lead a strong team of product managers, owners, and designers, recruit and coach staff, and collaborate with sales, Marketing, and IS to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of P&C insurance experience in sales, customer service, product management, underwriting, claims, or analytics.
• Strong product visionary.
• Excellent communication skills to internal and external stakeholders.
• Advanced ability to transform strategy into actionable plans.
• Understanding of UI/UX principles.
• Demonstrated experience shipping a product.

Responsibilities

• Execute the product vision and drive strategy from planning to launch.
• Develop and implement product development processes and goals.
• Collaborate with sales, Marketing and IS for support and distribution.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, profitability, and cost containment.
• Build and lead a team of product managers, owners and designers.
• Monitor market trends and competitive research to shape offerings.
• Negotiate vendor contracts and manage external partners.
