Job summary

Sunwest Bank seeks a SVP - Head of Product and Engineering to lead product management and software delivery across digital, data, payments, and internal platforms. The role owns the product roadmap, discovery, prioritization, requirements quality, launch readiness, and performance measurement.

In the first year, you will publish a three-year technical roadmap, establish a predictable delivery cadence, set architecture standards, and assess organizational structure to build a high-performing team

Qualifications

• Own product management and software delivery across multiple digital and internal platforms.
• Define and execute on product roadmaps, discovery, prioritization, requirements quality and launch readiness.
• Build delivery-focused teams and measure performance for Sunwest Bank’s software solutions.
• Publish a three-year technical roadmap aligned with business priorities and regulatory commitments.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical roadmap for the Bank's software and data capabilities.
• Establish predictable delivery cadence with measurable throughput and quality.
• Set architecture and design standards for the Bank’s software and integrations.
• Lead build-versus-buy decisions with total-cost considerations.
• Unify discovery, prioritization, estimation, and post-launch measurement across Product and Development.
