Job summary

FIS seeks a Vice President, Head of Program Management & Strategic Initiatives to lead the enterprise Technology PMO and drive cross-functional modernization programs. You will translate strategy into executable programs, govern scope, schedule, and budget, and ensure accountability across a global PMO team.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive experience in program management, technology delivery, management consulting, or transformation leadership.
• Experience leading enterprise-scale transformation programs (>$50M, multi-year).
• "Deep experience in financial services, fintech, payments, or similarly regulated tech environments."
• "Executive-level advisory and board-level communication capabilities."

Responsibilities

• Partner with CTO/CIO to translate strategy into a portfolio of programs and outcomes.
• Design and execute cross-functional strategic initiatives (platform modernization, cloud, AI).
• Evolve the Technology PMO operating model, governance, and tooling.
• Lead or sponsor the most complex programs, remove blockers, ensure value delivery across Technology.
