Job summary

Valeris is seeking a Director, IT PMO & Technology Transformation to lead a small IT PMO and serve as the lead Project Manager on two major transformation initiatives. You will govern PMO standards, mentor a team of PMs, and drive cross-functional delivery across CRM, data, and platform migrations.

The role requires 12+ years in project/program management, experience maturing PMO governance, and strong communication with executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive project/program management experience, including PMO leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead a lean IT PMO with governance routines and standard project management practices.
• Define and maintain PMO methodologies, templates, and tools (status, RAID logs, stage-gate).
• Manage a small team of project managers and balance workload across the portfolio.
• Own portfolio reporting with dashboards, risk/issue heatmaps, executive summaries.
• Align portfolio with budget, resources, and business priorities with IT leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement of PMO processes and outcomes across programs.
• Lead two large technology transformation initiatives with multiple workstreams.
• Develop detailed implementation plans covering systems, data migration, and governance.
• Translate sponsor goals into clear transformation roadmaps and timelines.
• Track milestones, identify bottlenecks, and elevate risks with mitigations.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Ensure regulatory and security compliance and support audits.
• Capture lessons learned and measure success against KPIs.
• Act as strategic integrator across two initiatives and manage interdependencies.
