Job summary

MAXIMUS is seeking an experienced leader to own the engineering vision and architecture across CRM, ERP, and enterprise platforms. You will drive modernization, automation, and platform health while guiding a large program through technical governance and stakeholder collaboration.

Lead multi-team efforts, manage budgets and vendors, and ensure regulatory compliance, security, and performance. This role requires strong communication and a track record of delivery in complex environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field
• 12+ years of relevant professional experience
• Progressive experience in enterprise applications, CRM, ERP, software engineering, or platform engineering
• 7+ years of technology leadership experience managing enterprise platforms, application portfolios, or technical teams
• Demonstrated experience leading enterprise application strategy, architecture, engineering, integration, modernization, and operations
• Strong knowledge of enterprise CRM and ERP platforms, preferably Salesforce and/or Deltek Costpoint
• Experience with enterprise architecture, APIs, integration, DevSecOps, CI/CD, testing, and release management
• Strong understanding of security, identity, data governance, risk, compliance, resilience, and lifecycle management
• Experience managing technology budgets, licensing, vendors, professional services, and workforce planning

Responsibilities

• Manage the program’s technical leadership and architecture
• Ensure all technical deliverables meet contractual requirements and SLAs
• Lead technical decision making for scope changes, risk mitigation, and issue resolution
• Document scope change impacts with Program Manager and stakeholders
• Act as senior technical interface with Program customers
• Ensure transparency of technical work, schedule, reviews, and meetings
• Set expectations for technical rigor and engineering discipline
• Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
• Define and own the Program engineering vision and architecture
• Align solutions with reference architectures, security frameworks, cloud/DevOps standards
• Chair architecture and technical review boards
• Drive alignment between solution, systems, and platform teams
• Identify opportunities for reuse and standardization
• Leverage enterprise standards to reduce cost and risk
• Identify cross-program reuse opportunities
