Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive software engineering experience, including 5+ years in senior engineering leadership roles.
• Deep hands-on expertise in cloud-native development, microservices, containerisation, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Experience delivering large-scale platform modernisation programmes in financial services or fintech.
• Strong understanding of security-first development practices and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Define and own multi-year engineering strategy for the application portfolio.
• Establish target architecture for cloud-native, microservices-based systems.
• Set engineering standards for code quality, testing, CI/CD, observability, and production readiness.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of application modernisation programmes across teams and locations.
• Drive adoption of cloud-native services (Azure/AWS), Kubernetes, Docker, and infra-as-code.
