GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The purpose of this classification is to direct the efficient operation of multiple sewage treatment plants, ensuring the proper and timely maintenance and repair of all plant systems and that all plant operations are in accordance with local, state and federal treatment requirements.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
SPECIAL LICENSE/CERTIFICATION
Must possess and maintain a valid Kentucky Class IV Wastewater Treatment Plant Operators License or its equivalent from another state. Those with an equivalent from another state are required to have it converted to a Kentucky Class IV License within six months as a condition of employment.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
All positions require drug testing and background check before employment and may require a post-job offer physical as stated in Ordinances 21-14(b), 22-13 and 23-16.
