Job summary

UpTalent Consulting & Search in Provo, Utah, seeks a Director of People and Organizational Development to lead recruitment, governance, and people-focused operations during a rapid growth phase. You will own end-to-end recruitment, build scalable HR processes, and partner with executives to shape the people strategy.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of progressive human resources experience.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in talent management and performance management.
• Experience supporting rapid scaling toward public-market readiness.
• Experience building or maturing HR policy, governance, and benefits programs.
• Working knowledge of federal and state employment law.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end recruitment across multiple disciplines and levels.
• Partner with hiring managers to define requirements and interview processes.
• Deliver a high-touch candidate experience reflecting company standards.
• Drive culture, engagement and performance management initiatives.
• Develop onboarding, goal setting, feedback, and development plans.
• Manage employee relations, investigations, and compliant resolutions.
• Create and maintain HR policies, handbook, and SOPs.
• Mitigate people-related risk with leaders and legal/EH&S.
• Build scalable HR infrastructure and lead a growing team.
• Own day-to-day HR operations and reporting; ensure confidentiality.
