Job summary

NRECA, based in Arlington, Virginia, seeks a Senior Vice President of Human Resources to provide strategic leadership in partnership with the executive team and Board. You will align HR functions with organizational goals and lead a 16-person HR team delivering development, talent, compensation, and employee relations programs.

The role requires extensive HR experience, advanced degrees, and a track record of building high-performing teams in a complex environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• Master’s degree in HR/Business preferred.
• Fifteen years’ HR experience; five years’ management in a large organization.
• SPHR preferred, CCP/CEBS or similar HR specialty preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR team to deliver strategically oriented programs and services.
• Direct organizational and leadership development, talent acquisition, talent management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, training, internal communications, and HRIS.
• Align HR functions with the association’s strategic goals and business needs.
• Travel to conferences and other office locations as required.
