Job summary

NRECA International seeks a Senior Human Resources executive to align HR with strategic goals, lead the HR team across development, compensation and benefits, and drive organizational health. You will shape talent acquisition, employee relations, and HRIS while building trusted relationships with leaders and staff.

Requires 15+ years in HR, five years in management, SPHR/CEBS preferred. This on-site role is based in Arlington, VA with travel to conferences and offices as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• Fifteen years’ HR experience with five years in management at large scope.
• SPHR preferred; CCP/CEBS or equivalent HR specialty preferred.
• Knowledge of ERISA, FMLA, COBRA and IRS/DOL regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership of the HR function aligned with organizational goals.
• Lead HR team, delivering programs across development, compensation, and benefits.
• Build strategic relationships with internal leaders and employees at all levels.
• Direct organizational development, talent acquisition and HR information systems.
• Travel as required and report to Arlington, VA office when needed.
