Job summary

9amHealth seeks a VP of People to lead HR, Talent Acquisition, and People Operations in a fast-growing healthtech startup. You will partner with the executive team to align People strategy with business goals, scale teams, design organization structure, and shape compensation and culture.

The role reports to the COO and oversees a blended workforce of 250+ employees and contractors across clinical, corporate, and technical functions, with remote and office sites globally.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive People/HR leadership experience.
• 5+ years leading People functions at Director/VP level.
• Experience building/scaling People in high-growth startups.
• Experience with distributed/blended workforces across states.
• Strategic partner to founders, executives, and Boards.

Responsibilities

• Set multi-year People strategy aligned to goals and growth.
• Represent People strategy at executive/Board levels.
• Lead organizational design and workforce planning with Finance.
• Oversee compensation philosophy and People operations.
• Build scalable systems, processes, and People technology.
• Lead and develop the People leadership team across HR, TA, and People Operations.
