Job summary
Turnkey is seeking a Head of People to own and scale the People function from the COO, overseeing talent, HR operations, performance management, compensation, and executive coaching. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on building scalable processes to support rapid growth and operational excellence.
You will lead a small People team, shape the talent strategy, and partner with Finance on headcount planning and org design while driving a high-agency culture across the company.
Qualifications
- 7+ years in People/HR roles with 2+ years in senior leadership at a high-growth tech company.
- Experience implementing core HR systems and scalable processes.
- Broad exposure to talent, HRBP, People Ops, and compensation.
Responsibilities
- Own and build all People functions (talent, HRBP, People Ops).
- Lead performance management, leveling, and compensation frameworks.
- Partner with Finance on headcount planning and org design.
- Develop managers and support executive growth.
- Build scalable talent acquisition processes and systems.
- Strengthen culture with clarity, programs, and high standards.
- Ensure compliant, smooth People operations with minimal bureaucracy.
- Mentor and grow a small People team.
