Job summary

MNG Brands is seeking a strategic Director of Human Resources to lead our people strategy across retail and corporate operations. You will partner with the C-suite to steer workforce planning, talent development, and compliance across multi-state regulations.

In this role, you will build an empowered HR team, drive performance and engagement, and ensure our benefits and compensation programs align with business objectives while maintaining a strong culture of care and accountability.

• Deep expertise in multi-state employment law, compliance, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Translate organizational goals into a scalable people strategy.
• Drive workforce planning, headcount forecasting, and labor budgeting.
• Measure ROI of HR initiatives using workforce metrics and analytics.
• Champion values and create an inclusive, high-growth culture.
• Oversee internal communications and employee engagement efforts.
• Design and execute sourcing, recruiting, and onboarding strategies.
• Lead Learning & Development programs for growth and leadership.
• Implement performance management, talent reviews, and succession planning.
• Oversee payroll, benefits, leave administration, safety, and workers’ comp.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws across markets.
• Manage employee relations, investigations, and risk mitigation.
• Lead HR team and oversee daily department workflow.
