Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) seeks a full-time Vice President of Operations in the Seattle area. The role provides asset management and leadership oversight for a portfolio, focusing on property operations, financial performance, compliance, and marketing.

Responsibilities include guiding regional property managers, monitoring occupancy and pricing, and ensuring financial parameters are met. The VP will hire, train, coach, and manage performance while coordinating dispositions or

Qualifications

• 5+ years of supervisory property management experience.
• Background in Multifamily Real Estate.
• Proficient with Microsoft suite applications and other relevant software.
• Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Effective leadership and development skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to Regional Property Managers within their portfolio.
• Stay informed on asset performance by reviewing reports, tracking occupancy, and maintaining appropriate rental pricing.
• Ensure properties are operating within established financial parameters.
• Perform essential management function duties such as hiring, training, coaching, succession planning, performance management, compensation planning, development, and employee counseling.
• Oversee the transition of property dispositions or acquisitions.
• Apply risk management procedures and ensure compliance with all regulating agencies.
• Set performance goals and hold the team accountable for meeting expectations.
• Maintain professional working relationships with ownership/clients and third parties.
• Collaborate with all departments to ensure consistent, transparent communication.
