Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is a leader in the property management industry. We are seeking a full-time Vice President of Operations to oversee asset management, property operations, financial performance, compliance, and marketing for our portfolio.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of supervisory property management experience.
• Background in Multifamily Real Estate.
• Proficient with Microsoft suite application and other relevant software.
• Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Effective leadership and development skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to Regional Property Managers within their portfolio.
• Stay informed on asset performance by reviewing reports, tracking occupancy, and maintaining appropriate rental pricing.
• Ensure properties are operating within established financial parameters.
• Perform essential management function duties such as hiring, training, coaching, succession planning, performance management, compensation planning, development, and employee counseling.
• Oversee the transition of property dispositions or acquisitions.
• Apply risk management procedures and ensure compliance with all regulating agencies.
• Set performance goals and hold the team accountable for meeting expectations.
• Use sound judgement while approving requests within their portfolio.
• Maintain professional working relationship with third parties to include ownership, vendors, inspectors, etc.
• Ensure transparent communication with ownership/clients.
• Collaborate with all departments to ensure consistent, transparent, and open communication.
