Job summary

Equus Workforce Solutions seeks a Vice President of Operations to lead, develop, and optimize the company’s workforce services portfolio. You will direct regional and project leaders, ensure contract performance, and maximize funding while sustaining a HEART-driven culture.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and an ability to build durable relationships with funders and clients, with substantial travel and a focus on compliance and excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, or related area.
• Ten years' experience building new and existing business using consultative skills.
• Proven track record in client relationships, deals, and growth.
• Strong leadership and change-management experience.
• Excellent communication across all levels of client organizations.

Responsibilities

• Direct and develop director-level heads to achieve strategic objectives.
• Oversee workforce services contracts and ensure commitments are met or exceeded.
• Build and maintain positive funder relationships to optimize funding and outcomes.
• Drive operational excellence in performance, customer relations, financial management and HR.
• Coach and supervise regional and project directors; manage multiple initiatives.
• Develop processes to improve operational outcomes and ensure compliance with laws and policies.
• Travel up to 75% as required by business needs.
