Job summary

Career Team is seeking a strategic Vice President of Operations to oversee the Workforce Services division, guide regional directors, and align service delivery with the organization's mission. This remote, exempt position collaborates with senior leaders, manages budgets and metrics, and drives performance across multiple sites.

The role requires a bachelor's degree, 6+ years in leadership, and strong communication, confidentiality, and organizational skills. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 6+ years of experience in Business Leadership, Public Relations, Education, and Human Services with leadership and management experience.
• 5+ years of proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and Google Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Drive.
• 5+ years of demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic team environment with strong communication and professionalism.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle personnel inquiries with tact and diplomacy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee regional operations for the Workforce Services division.
• Lead multi-unit teams and executive leaders to successful outcomes.
• Create, communicate, and implement the organization’s vision and direction.
• Meet with Senior Leadership to monitor KPIs and project performance.
• Develop and implement strategic plans guiding the business direction.
• Conduct onsite reviews at Career Team locations.
• Host weekly check-ins with the Executive Director and Regional Director teams.
• Monitor external and internal competitive landscape and expansion opportunities.
