Job summary

Circle is seeking a Chief Operating and Trust Officer for Circle National Trust to lead operations, compliance, and performance. You will report to Circle Group leadership and the Trust Board, owning the business plan and ensuring efficient, profitable operations.

You will drive governance, allocate resources, and manage regulatory interactions while leveraging AI and fintech expertise to advance the trust’s objectives.

Qualifications

• 14+ years relevant experience in general management, finance, operations, or related discipline.
• 8+ years leading high performing teams.
• Experience in regulated financial services (OCC a plus).
• Strong ability to investigate, analyze, and interpret data and regulations.
• Experience in RegTech or Fintech company.
• Proven ability to build trust across stakeholders and teams.
• Knowledge and passion for blockchain tech and digital currency.
• Interest in applying AI and automation to improve efficiency and decision-making.
• Experience collaborating with engineers, product managers, data analysts, etc.
• Strong communication, planning and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of Circle National Trust and ensure profitability.
• Represent Circle National Trust within Circle Group and externally.
• Report key matters to the Trust Board and Circle leadership.
• Develop and own the business plan to maximize opportunities and efficiency.
• Coordinate with senior executives to ensure cohesive operations and resources.
• Maintain compliance systems and corporate governance with regulators.
• Ensure fiduciary and regulatory requirements are met.
• Drive risk management and governance culture across the organization.
• Engage regulators and manage audits or examinations as needed.
• Allocate resources across Circle Group functions to support Trust operations.
