Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to lead strategic vision, operational excellence, and measurable youth impact across 39 clubs in five counties. The COO will oversee programs, facilities, safety, grants, and budget performance.

As a senior executive, you will drive policy development, risk management, and strategic partnerships while ensuring organizational growth and sustainability in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, education, non-profit management, public administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years in youth program operations management, nonprofit leadership, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience within the Boys & Girls Clubs movement or a similar organization.
• Minimum of three years’ experience as a senior leader of a nonprofit organization.
• Proven track record of strategic planning and execution in a complex, multi-site organization.
• Ability to develop and implement policies and SOPs; strong data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership as a key member of the executive team to develop and execute BGCCF's strategic vision and plan.
• Oversee operations, facilities, security, safety, and youth impact across 39 clubs.
• Lead financial management and resource allocation with CFO/CAO and grants teams.
• Develop and enforce policies and standard operating procedures to optimize performance.
• Drive fundraising, donor stewardship, and grant solicitation in alignment with organizational goals.
• Represent BGCCF in community engagement, partnerships, and stakeholder forums.
