Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank seeks a Chief Operating Officer to lead warehouse/facility operations, logistics, sourcing, and program partnerships. The role focuses on data-driven strategy, regulatory compliance, and cross-department collaboration to advance hunger-relief goals.

The COO works with the President & CEO as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, travels regionally, and guides budgeting, SOPs, and system enhancements to optimize performance and impact.

Qualifikationen

• Must follow all applicable safety, regulatory, and SOP requirements.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents (financial reports, legal documents).
• Ability to respond to inquiries from regulators or stakeholders and present information to leadership.

• Foster a culture aligned with core values and mentor staff.
• Oversee warehouse, transportation, sourcing, and program partnerships across multiple sites.
• Develop and manage department budgets and annual financial plans.
• Drive end-to-end supply chain improvements and drive data-driven operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with IT on systems like WMS and scheduling to improve data integrity.
• Represent the Foodbank with external partners and communities across Ohio and nationally.
