Job summary

United Food Bank seeks a Chief Operating and Impact Officer to drive its dual strategy—Food for Today and Food for Tomorrow—across a large Arizona service area. You will lead sourcing, warehousing, repacking and distribution, shaping a modern campus and a high-performance operations culture.

You will report to the CAO, guide a broad operations team, and partner with the board to align with Feeding America contracts and local regulations.

Qualifications

10+ years of progressive leadership experience, including director or C-level overseeing operations or supply chain.
Experience managing warehousing, fleet logistics and inventory control.
Proven success leading an operation through significant change, such as a new facility or distribution model.
Experience working with a board and diverse external partners.
Bachelor’s degree in business, nonprofit management, operations or supply chain; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
Excellent communication, judgment and tact; strong MS Office skills.
Background check and soft credit check required.

Responsibilities

Lead the Senior Leadership Team and oversee daily operations.
Develop and execute a multi-year operational roadmap aligned with Stability First.
Oversee the new campus project design, facilities, and transition timelines.
Ensure compliance with Feeding America network standards, safety and regulatory requirements.
Manage partnerships with agency networks and external stakeholders.
