Job summary

Affirm is seeking a Chief of Staff to the SVP of Product to scale the product leadership function, own the external product narrative end‑to‑end, and drive strategic bets such as AI enablement. You will design and run the product leadership rhythms, co‑own people processes with HRBP, and partner with Technology Operations to improve roadmaps and OKRs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in roles that built product credibility and strategic-narrative chops.
• Experience as CoS or strategic adviser to a senior product/engineering executive at a high-growth tech company.
• Exceptional written communication; ghostwriting and board-level drafting experience.
• Pattern-matching for organizational dysfunction and risk across hiring and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Design and run the product leadership team rhythms: meetings, reviews, all-teams events, offsites.
• Co-own people rhythms with HRBP; surface hiring gaps and attrition risks with proactive solutions.
• Partner with Technology Operations to define roadmaps, prioritization, and annual OKRs.
• Own headcount planning and budget management with Finance and HRBP; reforecasts and tradeoffs.
• Drive AI retooling and enablement, including internal AI masterclasses for leadership.
• Curate external product narrative; act as speechwriter with PR, comms and brand.
• Prepare executive briefings and reduce decision latency across Product leadership.
• Run org health pulse; escalate early signals before problems become structural.
