Job summary

Phoenix Tailings is seeking a Chief of Staff - Operations to own critical programs across the Operations organization and build the program-management infrastructure needed to scale. You will establish schedules, ownership, cadences, controls, and reporting to drive complex initiatives forward while guiding the COO-sponsored programs.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years leading complex programs in industrial, manufacturing, aerospace, defense, energy, or similarly complex environments.
• Demonstrated experience building program-management systems with integrated schedules, operating cadences, and reporting.
• Proven ability to translate objectives into workstreams, milestones, and accountability across senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the execution of cross-functional Operations programs from scope to completion, defining workstreams and milestones.
• Build and maintain integrated schedules across Operations, Technology, Commercial, Finance, and Manufacturing.
• Take end-to-end ownership of priority programs sponsored by the COO, including scoping, planning, execution, risk management, and reporting.
• Develop program-management infrastructure with standard work, cadences, controls, reporting mechanisms, and forums for accountability.
• Lead cross-functional execution against regulatory, compliance, and government-program requirements (e.g., CMMC 2.0).
• Drive program execution across strategic supply chain and procurement initiatives, including sourcing and vendor deliverables.
• Identify program risks early, escalate decisions quickly, and ensure commitments are closed.
