Job summary

RTX in Tucson seeks a Program Operations Manager to lead cross-functional teams across operations, PMO, and design, guiding producibility and affordability. The role embeds within a development program and interfaces with SMCs to ensure commitments align with contracts and customer expectations.

The candidate will manage the Operations EAC and budget, coordinate gate reviews, and support transition to production while traveling as needed. Security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a university degree in production or manufacturing with 7–10 years of experience, or an advanced degree with 7+ years.
• Experience in manufacturing/operations environments and cross-functional collaboration.
• Knowledge of risk and opportunity management and CAM certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead program and functional management to support factory performance and timely product deliveries.
• Interface between PMO, leaders, and Operations for SMCs and contracts.
• Develop and communicate operations requirements for gate reviews and production.
• Own the program's operations EAC and budget, and present status updates.
• Support manufacturing with cost controls and production readiness activities.
• Travel domestically and work across multiple facilities as needed.
