Job summary

Mercor is seeking a Chief of Staff to support the Head of Engagement Management and drive high-priority initiatives across sales, partnerships, marketing, and hiring. This is a high-ownership role for someone who can move quickly from strategy to execution, helping to drive the strategic direction of Mercor's rapidly expanding GTM efforts.

You will lead strategic projects, activate partnerships, manage CRM-related activities, optimize processes, and guide hiring for key roles in the Engagement

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of experience in a Chief of Staff/Exec Ops role supporting a rapidly scaling business.
• Exceptional strategic thinking and execution.
• Strong commercial instincts and interest in AI.
• Ability to operate across sales, partnerships, marketing, and recruiting.
• High ownership, low ego, and comfort operating in ambiguity.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Special Projects: Develop and execute strategic initiatives to grow Mercor’s business across labs, enterprises, and app layer companies.
• Partnerships: Activate partnerships with RL-as-a-service companies and partners to turn relationships into joint GTM and revenue opportunities.
• Sales strategy: Manage CRM implementation, goal setting, territory design, and resource allocation.
• Process Optimization: Help to optimize the operating rhythm of the EM organization including deal reviews and GTM systems.
• Strategic Hiring: Identify organizational gaps and lead recruiting for high-priority roles across the Engagement Management organization.
