Job summary

Wintermeyer Ventures is seeking an experienced Strategy & Operations professional to work directly with the founders of an early-stage AI/ML company. You will align strategy with execution across engineering, customer deployments, sales, and operations to help the organization scale.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–7 years in strategy and operations, or chief of staff at a high-growth tech company or relevant consulting/private equity background.
• Experience balancing strategic projects with hands-on operational work in an early-stage startup environment.
• Experience using AI tools to automate repetitive workflows and improve efficiency.

About the Role

Work directly with the founders of an early-stage AI/ML company to turn important priorities into measurable outcomes. You will connect strategy and execution across engineering, customer deployments, sales, and operations, helping the organization scale effectively.

What You'll Do

• Drive cross-functional initiatives across hiring, customer delivery, go-to-market, and internal operations, surfacing risks and resolving dependencies.
• Own strategic projects from framing problems and evaluating options through execution and measurement.
• Build the company's operating cadence with clear priorities, accountable owners, useful metrics, and consistent follow-through.
• Partner with the founders to move high-impact initiatives from idea to completion.

What We're Looking For

• 1 to 7 years of experience in strategy and operations, business operations, or a chief of staff role at a high-growth technology company, or experience at a leading consulting, investment banking, or private equity or venture capital firm.
• Experience balancing strategic projects with hands-on operational work, ideally in an early-stage startup.
• Experience using AI tools to automate repetitive workflows.
• A bachelor's degree from a highly selective US university.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary range: $150,000 to $250,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
