Job summary

StaffGreat.com is seeking a Chief of Staff as the first internal operations hire to work directly with the CEO and CTO, guiding priority initiatives from team scaling to owning financials and expanding customer and verticals.

You will lead end-to-end hiring, manage P&L and weekly performance syncs, drive strategic projects, and build internal systems as the founding ops leader while collaborating across engineering, research, and customer teams.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of operating experience, ideally at an early-stage startup (Series A or earlier) or in management consulting.
• Experience owning cross-functional initiatives end-to-end (hiring, finance, ops).
• Strong generalist problem solver with extreme ownership—able to take ambiguous problems and drive them to completion autonomously.
• High autonomy—self-prioritizes, pushes back, and drives outcomes without hand-holding.
• Comfortable using coding agents or writing code to solve problems (enthusiasm matters more than prior experience).
• Financial modeling / P&L management experience.
• Degree from a top-tier university; technical or quantitative background (CS, data science, engineering) a plus.]
