Job summary

Fieldwire by Hilti seeks a Chief of Staff to work with our VP of Finance & Operations. You will run leadership meetings, build the supporting material, own cross‑functional projects, and ensure that decisions are executed.

The role is broad and designed to give you a complete view of how the business operates and to prepare you for future roles across the company. You will see how decisions are made at every level and help move them forward.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years in FP&A, strategic finance, business operations, consulting or a comparable chief of staff role.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience owning recurring leadership meetings, from setting the agenda to chasing what was decided.
• Strong writing and presenting, including building executive presentations yourself and delivering them to a full room.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, comfortable taking an open question through to a recommendation.
• Experience running cross functional programs and delivering through teams you do not manage.
• Comfortable with senior leaders and keeping discussions moving toward a decision.

Responsibilities

• Own the key cross functional business meetings, from planning through to follow through.
• Own company-facing business narrative across updates, meetings, and leadership presentations.
• Drive decisions to closure, track owners and deadlines, and escalate when needed.
• Own independent strategic and ad-hoc projects end to end, framing questions through to recommendations.
• Act as program manager for major cross-functional initiatives, driving scope and delivery.
