Job summary

Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals, Inc. is seeking a visionary Vice President to provide strategic leadership for perioperative and procedural services across TJUH, Inc.

The role focuses on integrating operating models across multiple hospitals and centers to optimize capacity, scheduling, and patient flow. The VP will partner with physicians and leadership to expand capacity, enhance access, and ensure regulatory and quality standards across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required.
• Minimum of five years demonstrated experience in leadership role in perioperative services.
• Prior hospital operations executive leadership experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish an integrated operating model across sites and services to maximize capacity.
• Lead enterprise operating model with regional responsibility for perioperative leaders.
• Partner with surgical chairs and nursing leadership to align scheduling and operational readiness.
• Develop methods to measure demand versus capacity by site, specialty, and resources.
• Improve surgical and procedural capacity, access, and throughput.
• Oversee Sterile Processing/Distribution integration with perioperative operations.
