Job summary

Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals, Inc. seeks a Campus Operations Manager to translate strategic initiatives into large campus plans and programs for execution.

You will collaborate with senior leadership, resource and implement projects supporting the organization’s strategic plan, and oversee operations across clinical and support services. The role requires 5 years in project management and hospital operations with 3 years in direct management, plus a bachelor’s degree and preferred

Qualifications

• Education - Required: Bachelor’s Degree.
• Education - Preferred: Master’s Degree in project management, business management, or healthcare administration.
• Experience - Required: 5 years progressive experience in project management and/or hospital operations; 3 years direct management of large projects.
• Experience - Preferred: 7 years related job experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintains cost control and evaluates budget needs for operations.
• Collaborates to establish campus plans aligned with mission, strategic operations, quality and safety improvement plan, and overall network goals.
• Manages and motivates multiple teams across several initiatives to achieve shared goal, while developing relationships with key stakeholders.
• Proactively communicates critical issues and intervenes accordingly, prepares and submits timely reports for operational review.
• Implements and adjusts workflows to streamline operations and corrective actions for cost control problems.
• Independently leads and facilitates initiatives in collaborations with senior leaders, key stakeholders, and network leadership working across multiple business areas and stakeholder groups.
