Job summary

Turn is seeking a VP of Operations to design and run the day-to-day operations for a high-volume background screening platform. You will rebuild ticketing, escalation, and compliance workflows, partnering with product, engineering, partnerships, and customer success to deliver reliable processes.

The role is based in the Chicagoland area with a Chicago office opening for leadership hires. Expect in-office collaboration 1–3 days per week as part of a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• You have 8+ years in operations leadership, preferably in startup/high-growth environments.
• You have built/run high-volume ticketing/case-management operations with scalable systems and metrics.
• You turn compliance requirements into practical, repeatable workflows and use AI to drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Own and rebuild high-volume ticketing infrastructure (queues, routing, SLAs) to scale with growth.
• Lead and develop operations, QA, vendor management, and service delivery teams.
• Operationalize FCRA requirements and collaborate with legal and product to ensure compliant processes.
