Job summary

The Chief of Lease Management & Procurement leads the Lease Management and Procurement unit within the Maryland Department of General Services Office of Real Estate. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, real estate, business management or related field.
• Five years of experience in acquisition, negotiation and management of leased space.
• At least two years of supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of commercial lease acquisition process and contract negotiation.
• Working knowledge of State Procurement Law related to leased space acquisition.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate and work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.

The Chief supervises a team of agency relationship managers, procurement officers, commercial lease brokers, and a deputy chief, with responsibilities including strategic planning, financial analysis, policy development, legal support, and oversight of broker services contracts.
