Job summary

EVMS Medical Group seeks a Director of Simulation Technology to lead the Sentara Center for Healthcare Simulation and Immersive Learning operations and related TCLS programs. You will supervise a multidisciplinary team, manage budgets, and ensure technical excellence across simulators, IT, AV, and LMS systems to support education and client programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus eight years of progressive experience in healthcare simulation operations or related field.
• Experience supervising technical staff and overseeing simulation modalities (manikin, task trainer, computer-based, VR, hybrid).
• Knowledge of simulation center management systems and accreditation processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead Simulation Technology section and supervise managers and staff.
• Develop and manage operating and capital budgets for the section and TCLS.
• Ensure equipment readiness, safety, and room turnover; oversee program delivery and client events.
• Oversee maintenance of simulators, IT, audio-visual, and LMS systems (LearningSpace).
• Drive new simulation technology adoption and curriculum-aligned programs.
