Job summary

Dignity Health - Memorial Hospital in Bakersfield seeks a Simulation Center Program Manager to lead simulation-based education within the Graduate Medical Education department. You will manage operations, coordinate learners, and ensure high-quality training experiences.

The role involves setup, moulage, programming of simulations, and providing AV/IT support for complex systems, while collaborating with students, residents, fellows, faculty, and staff.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associates Degree.
• Minimum three years of experience in healthcare simulation.
• Experience in audiovisual technology, IT, adult education, and related fields.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree.
• Preferred: CHSOS certification.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate simulation-based learning within the GME department.
• Provide simulation-based medical education for residents and visiting medical students.
• Organize, schedule, and maintain the simulation center and its equipment.
• Provide essential technical and audio/visual support for simulation operations and technology.
• Setup, breakdown, moulage, and programming of requested healthcare simulations.
• Communicate with diverse groups of medical students, residents, fellows, faculty, staff, and community members.
