Qualifications

• Must have a Registered Nursing Degree.
• 3 years of work related experience, 8 years preferred.
• Understanding of psychiatric nursing theory and practice.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Effective written and verbal communication with patients, families, executives and staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, organization, provision and evaluation of all nursing functions 24/7.
• Collaborate with leadership to ensure quality patient care and compliant nursing processes.
• Oversee staffing levels and scheduling within budgetary guidelines; assist in annual nursing budget.
• Coordinate nursing student rotations and ensure competency requirements are met.
• Direct performance improvement programs and communicate with Board and senior leadership.
