Job summary

The role supervises staffing, budgeting, and policy development, while fostering staff development and continuous improvement in patient outcomes. A nursing leadership background and licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing, Health Administration, or related field.
• At least 10 years nursing experience with 5+ years in a senior leadership role such as CNO or Director of Nursing.
• RN state licensure in good standing or compact state licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and direction for nursing services, ensuring high-quality patient care and compliance with standards.
• Oversees recruitment, development, and retention of nursing staff, ensuring adequate staffing and a positive work environment.
• Ensures regulatory compliance, accreditation standards, and internal nursing policies.
• Leads strategic planning with hospital leaders to improve patient care outcomes and operational efficiency.
• Mentors nursing managers and department heads to foster leadership development.
