Job summary
Southridge Behavioral Hospital, a joint venture with Trinity Health System and Universal Health Services, seeks a Chief Nursing Officer to lead nursing strategy and patient-centered care across four units. The CNO will align practice with mission and regulatory standards and participate in strategic planning with focus on People, Service, Quality, Growth and Finance.
The role emphasizes autonomy within a large network of nurse leaders, ongoing education, and leadership development opportunities
Qualifications
- Current license to practice professional nursing in MI.
- BSN from CCNE accredited program; MSN preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of behavioral health nursing management.
- Extensive knowledge of nursing and patient care practices.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
- Five+ years of progressive nursing management experience.
Responsibilities
- Integrate and coordinate a patient-centric nursing strategy with a hands-on approach.
- Ensure delivery of high-quality, cost-effective care aligned with UHS mission and regulatory requirements.
- Lead strategic planning with focus on People, Service, Quality, Growth and Finance.
- Support Nursing Council and educational programs to advance practice.
