Lightfield is seeking a skilled writer and editor to shape our narrative, articulate what we’re building, and define how business software will evolve. You will work with founders and engineers to turn ideas into compelling essays, explainers, and customer stories.

You’ll own external communications, build media relationships, and develop a distinctive voice that resonates with our audience across blog posts, newsletters, and talks.

Qualifications

• You have reporter’s instincts and ask thoughtful follow‑ups to verify claims.
• You bring journalism, strategic communications, or editorial experience to technology topics.
• You write clearly, edit rigorously, and can shape complex ideas into accessible stories.
• You can learn new technical concepts quickly and explain them to varied audiences.

Responsibilities

• You’ll craft perspectives and narratives about how Lightfield views the future of business software.
• You’ll develop ideas with original research, customer evidence, and historical parallels.
• You’ll own external communications, pitches, and interviews with journalists and creators.
