Job summary

American Public Media Group's Minnesota Public Radio seeks a visionary Vice President of Membership to lead the membership program, grow revenue, and transform it into a civic institution.

Hybrid role in St. Paul, MN, with compensation $225,000 to $240,000 and a focus on expanding to 300,000 members while guiding cross-functional teams.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.; previous leadership in membership and donor strategies preferred.

Qualifications

• Entrepreneurial track record identifying, evaluating, launching, and growing new revenue paths.
• Experience building partnerships with unaffiliated organizations for mutual gain.
• Ability to navigate multiple channels and drive digital conversion with new and existing channels.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic direction of the membership program as a core revenue line.
• Provide team leadership and develop a high-performing membership group across the org.
• Align organizational goals with membership growth, board objectives, and revenue targets.
• Champion mission-driven public media impact and foster strong audience relationships.
