Job summary

SkillUp Coalition is seeking a senior marketing leader to translate a bold 2030 vision into actionable strategies, aligning brand, growth, product, and lifecycle marketing across the organization. You will work closely with the CEO to drive cross-functional initiatives and steward a compelling narrative for workers, partners, and funders.

You will oversee acquisition, retention, and product marketing, leveraging AI to optimize campaigns while maintaining human-centered brand storytelling.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in marketing, brand, product, or growth roles, including executive-level responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Translate SkillUp’s 2030 vision into clear multi-year marketing strategies and annual operating plans.
• Align brand, growth, product, communications, and lifecycle marketing around shared goals, metrics, and decision-making frameworks.
• Partner with CEO and leadership to align initiatives with SkillUp’s mission and OKRs.
• Advise executive leadership, partners, and the board on brand, communications, growth, product marketing, and audience strategy.
• Manage staffing, resourcing, and consulting decisions with responsiveness to funding and budget contingencies.
• Own and steward SkillUp’s brand, narrative, and voice across all channels and audiences.
• Lead internal and external strategic communications, overseeing PR, campaigns, and storytelling to elevate visibility.
• Lead user acquisition strategies across paid, owned, and earned channels for sustainable growth.
• Oversee lifecycle, CRM, and retention marketing to deepen engagement.
• Drive product marketing strategy end-to-end for new features in alignment with Product and Engineering.
• Develop partner marketing and enablement with Strategic Partnerships to accelerate adoption.
• Establish KPIs and dashboards to measure marketing performance and CPA.
