Job summary
Counselwell Inc. seeks a General Counsel to serve as chief legal officer and strategic advisor to executive leadership and the Board. You will oversee all legal, regulatory, compliance, and risk management functions while enabling business growth and operational performance.
Provides business-focused guidance across governance, M&A, contracts, employment, and enterprise risk. This role requires strong business judgment, executive presence, and the ability to translate complex legal issues
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- 10+ years of progressive legal experience.
- Demonstrated experience advising senior executives and boards of directors.
- Strong background in commercial contracts, corporate governance, and risk management.
