Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona seeks an experienced Chief Legal Officer to serve as the CEO’s chief legal advisor and strategic partner across the enterprise. You will oversee legal, compliance, governance, risk management, regulatory, litigation, employment, contracts, real estate, trademark, M&A, and corporate matters.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Juris Doctor degree and be in good standing with the Arizona Bar.
• Extensive, progressive legal experience (15+ years) in corporate and private practice.
• Strong experience as General Counsel/CLO and in M&A and complex governance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as chief legal advisor to CEO, ELT, and multiple boards.
• Plan and direct all legal, compliance, governance, risk, regulatory, and litigation matters.
• Lead outside counsel, manage legal budget, and oversee post-merger integrations and growth initiatives.
